Well basically this tool helps you to find out if those people you are following are following you back or not. Shows you the number of friends, fans and followers. But I use it for a different purpose. If I find out a power user in my niche who is popular and is often re-tweeted, I would like to find whom he is following and what are his sources. Simply use this tool, give in the username and it will show who all are following him, his friends and fans. The good thing is that you can sort them by the number of followers they have. 1. Hootsuite ist ein besonders vielfältiges Tool. Unter Twitterern ist es längst eines der Beliebtesten. Dieses Twitter Tool ist für Unternehmen besonders wichtig, da es schon bei 100 Followern schwierig ist, den Überblick zu behalten und wichtige Tweets untergehen könnten. Mit Tweetdeck sind User in der Lage, nach bestimmten Keywords oder Personengruppen zu ordnen. Auch hier ist es möglich, mehrere Twitter-Accounts parallel zu verwalten.

3. Huitter ist für das Followermanagement auf Twitter nützlich: Profile, denen man nur folgt, um diese selbst als Follower zu gewinnen, lassen sich mit diesem Twitter Tool schnell wieder entfollowen, wenn die Taktik nicht funktioniert hat. Im Extremfall ist es sogar möglich, das eigene Profil gänzlich zu entfollowen und am Schluss gar niemandem mehr zu folgen. 4. CoTweet ist ein eigens auf die Bedürfnisse von Unternehmen zugeschnittenesTwitter Tool. Ein Multi-User Zugriff ist beispielsweise eines der sinnvollen Features. Mit CoTweet lassen sich auch Tweets vorproduzieren und zu einem späteren, zuvor festgelegten Zeitpunkt veröffentlichen. Diese Funktion hat es mit SocialOomph (ehemals Tweetlater) gemein, einem weiteren nützlichen Twitter Tool, das ebenfalls diesem Zweck dient und in dieser Liste quasi als 4b genannt sein soll.

Due to the new Twitter policy to reduce heavy traffic from clients, the bot check for new messages every minute. The delay can be a bit longer is its request quota has been reached; but don’t worry it’s a matter of minutes.

3.How do I unsubscribe from the service?

You can revoke our access to your calendar at any time. Go to your Google Account and select “change authorized web sites” then revoke access for Twittercal.

4.I see “d gcal” in the title of my event, how can I get rid of it?

Using the shorcut “d gcal” is only required when sending a direct message from an external client or from your own Twitter page. If you go to twitter.com/gcal and send a message from there, you don’t have to use the shortcut.

5.What are the different syntaxes for creating events?

We use the Google Calendar Quick Add feature. It’s a way to describe events using natural language. We support anything Google does. Go on this page for more information.

6.Does Twittercal work with a Google Apps hosted calendar?

No. Due to the way authentication work with hosted calendars, supporting this service would require to store your password. Regarding our privacy policy, we could not afford it. As soon as Google support a safer authentication method, we will support the service.

We believe that Twitter’s doing something awesome these days. It’s easily one of the biggest hubs of activity on the internet, and with that comes a wealth of information that’s available in real time. As important as Twitter is as a “Communications Platform”, Twitter’s purpose as a Search Engine is rapidly becoming one of the most useful and valuable parts of Twitter.

After searching for something similar to a Twitter Search badge to easily leverage that search engine, and failing to find anything, Brandon decided to build one himself. While Twitter does provide badges and widgets, the current badges and widgets merely display YOUR latest tweets. We wanted one that would showcase search results from Twitter’s stream, and we wanted it to be completely plug and play. Sadly, Brandon’s idea was shelved for a few weeks, until the day he showcased his idea to Ryan. Because of their joint efforts, the badge has expanded to offer many more options such as personalization and search keywords.

Both Brandon and Ryan have experience with the Twitter API (Brandon built the original skeleton, and Ryan has a Python Library that wraps Twitter’s API). The combined experience paved the way for expansion on Brandon’s initial work, and made the Search keywords and design system customizable.
