What is Twitter Twerp Scan?

There are too many self-proclaimed “SEO experts” and “entrepreneurs” around, clogging up the Interwebs. Your Twitter contact list, especially. Hard to hunt them down, tho, what with Twitter’s crazy 20-people-per-contact-list-page setup.

That’s why I wrote a little thingiemajigger here. It’ll check the number of followers of everyone on your contact list, the number of people they are following, and the ratio between those. If the person is following more than (n) people (can be customised), and has a followers-to-following ratio higher than 1:(m) (can be customised), you’ll be notified by a link.

Even if you have no use for that, you might find Twerp Scan a helpful tool for keeping an eye on your growing list of friends and followers.

How to use Twitter Twerp Scan?

Please note: Once you click the link to start below, your browser will ask for your Twitter credentials. This happens since the browser asks the Twitter server for your contact list, and in turn is asked to authenticate. This here script does not save your Twitter username or password. It’s a direct communication between you and Twitter. Check the source code if you don’t believe me.
