Twitter tool: SemanticTweet
What is SemanticTweet?
SemanticTweet is a simple web service that generates a FOAF RDF document for you from your list of Twitter friends and followers (or more specifically, from the 100 most recent of each of your friends and followers). It does this using the Twitter REST API. This service uses public Twitter data only, and so doesn’t need your Twitter username or password.
Why is SemanticTweet usefull?
Why is this useful? Well, for one, instead of having to hand-craft your FOAF file, or use a service such as FOAF-a-matic you can now embed a reference to this service directly in your homepage, blog, or whatever, without ever needing to upload or update any files.
How to use SemanticTweet?
To do so, just add the following line to the
section of your webpage:Of course, remember to change the your-twitter-screen-name to your actual Twitter screen name.
